How To Glorify God Psalm 8:1-9 Ask 10 people on the street, “The greatest theme in all the world is…” How would they finish it? From God’s viewpoint there is only one answer. It is the reason for all of creation. 1. What do we mean by glorifying God? (two viewpoints) • God’s I___________ glory • God’s C___________ may bring him glory (I Ch.16:24) “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all people.” (1 Ti.1:17) “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.” 2. Why glorify God? • Ps.100:3 “It is he who has made us and we are his” • He made everything to give him glory. (Pr. 16:4) “The Lord has made all things for himself.” (Ps.19:1) “The heavens declare the glory of God.” (Lu.2:14) The angels sang “Glory to God in the highest.” 3.
